Vocational Training

Vocational training programs are designed to teach employment skills, increase self-awareness and self-confidence, and provide opportunities for recreation, community integration, and socialization. By preparing adults with Intellectual Disabilities for the workplace, we help individuals achieve their highest level of independence. Each instructional program is designed around an individual’s Person-Centered Plan.

Vocational Training includes:

  • Employment preparation
  • Work readiness
  • Skill acquisition
  • Career counseling
  • Job seeking resources
  • Interview skills
  • Money management

These services are provided to prepare and maintain an individual’s ability to be successfully employed within the community.
